I just finalized my 2026 Art Festival schedule ✨
A lot of favorite shows are back this year, plus a couple that are still TBD — fingers crossed. I’ve been working on new pieces and can’t wait to share them in person.
If you’re near any of these this summer/fall, I’d truly love to see you. #torilart

This has been festering deep in my bones, and finally, I have painted my feelings. When truth is suppressed, I paint. When people are silenced, art finds a voice. "Redacted" 24x30, Acrylic on Canvas The redacted pages of the Epstein files wrap her in silence. A woman stands upright—defiant, unbroken—bound by swirling black ribbons that echo those omissions, engineered silence protecting power. She holds a child’s toy and spools of thread—innocence interrupted, repair demanded of the wounded. She is a woman and a girl at once, suspended in exploitation. Her apron, a uniform of obedience and subjugation, carries the expectation to endure, to mend, to bear what was never hers. A halo crowns her head, radiant yet shaped like a target. Sanctified and marked, she rises as a guiding light for those exploited, silenced, and trafficked. She is washed in blue—collective grief and shame. The sorrow is not hers alone. It belongs to those who watch accountability dissolve behind wealth while truth disappears beneath redaction. Alt text: A stylized acrylic painting of a woman standing upright against a deep blue background filled with abstract, graffiti-like marks. Her skin is painted in cool blue tones. A bright golden halo glows behind her head, but a thick black ribbon wraps tightly across her eyes like a blindfold and coils around her body. She wears a pale apron over darker clothing. In her hands, she gently holds a small pink teddy bear and a spool of thread.

A realistic painting shows a close-up of a black-and-white dog mid-yawn, its mouth open wide with teeth and tongue visible, next to a baby with bright blue eyes and rosy cheeks sticking out their tongue. Both subjects face forward and fill the composition

Vibrant contemporary painting of red poppies with bold black outlines and geometric color shapes, inspired by stained glass, set against layered greens and cool blue tones.

Travel fills the well.
Poland gave me light, line, and bold color.
This painting is my quiet nod to Wyspiański’s stained glass in Kraków. 🇵🇱

A 48 x 36 mosaic-style coastal painting of deep blue and turquoise water swirling around dark, jagged rocks. Warm rust and coral tones highlight foreground stones, with evergreen trees along the shoreline beneath a bright blue sky layered with white clouds.

Side-by-side interior mockups showing a large coastal painting hung in two different spaces. On the left, the artwork hangs above a white slipcovered sofa in a bright coastal living room with vaulted ceilings and ocean views. On the right, the same painting is displayed above a wooden dining table in a farmhouse-style dining room with navy upholstered chairs and white shiplap walls.

At today's hearing, survivors stood as adults.
But what was standing w/ them was the trauma of childhood.
When power looks away, it doesn’t erase the past. It just reinforces the silence that allowed it.
They don’t need performance; they need truth and accountability.
Imagine them as children.

My guess is that redwings are aggressive with humans and the blue jays are aggressive with other birds. That’s my humble observation. Perhaps it’s a toss up.

What an endearing story. Thanks for sharing that. I might need to change my opinion of them.

Agree! We probably all have a story. They are so protective when nesting, it's silly.

A stylized painting of Mary holding the baby Jesus while both look down at a smartphone together. Mary has a golden halo and wears a blue veil, and the baby rests in her arms with softly blushed cheeks. The background is dark, making the glowing halo and illuminated faces stand out, blending traditional religious imagery with a modern, humorous moment.

Looking for restaurants that are open today....
Mary: “Are you sure they’re open?”
Baby Jesus: “It says ‘holiday hours may vary.’”

A vibrant, stylized nighttime forest painting in shades of blue and green. Tall trees rise around a gently winding stream that reflects the deep blue sky. Swirling brushstrokes in the sky suggest movement and moonlight, while bright greens and cool blues illuminate the forest floor. The scene feels quiet and atmospheric, evoking stillness and anticipation.
