Lain (PS1 ver.) had her iconic hat and a Copland OS installed on her Navi now.

Thank you. :)
For now it's just an art test, but it might turn into a small interactive demo - don't know if I have enough time to turn it into a full game, need to return to the cat game eventually. :D
Lain PS1 progress.
She has a face now, pretty proud how it turned out. :)

Damn. In which version, btw?
I already had the bone naming/API breaking hard in a *minor* version update before... π
That'll be pretty cool, but I'm afraid it'll take too much time. :D
The thing I want to explore next is how to do dynamic lighting and a flashlight effect like in Silent Hill. :)
This DLSS 5 situation is crazy...
Yeah, I played the second one on my PS2 and it was incredible. :)
Thank you.
Yeah, I just drew a bunch of lines in world space and then rotated the camera so that the vanishing point matches roughly with the photo.
Thank you! You should check out Boku no Natsuyasumi, it's gorgeous. :)
Looks like this on an actual CRT. :)
Added support for pre-rendered/photo backgrounds to my PS1 game.
Looks pretty cool.
Decided to learn some sculpting with Nomad Sculpt.
Iβm still bad at it, so I decided to start with very simple stuff and made this Mr. Saturn I have. π
Itβs cool that you can make stuff like this on iPad now.
9 games.
("My life was never the same again" edition)
Uhh, it was me. π
Was wondering if it's okay to share your fan art of my PS1 cat and Yume Nikki PS on my Twitter (with proper credit, of course!)
Iβm now monetized on YouTube, thanks to my big "How I make PS1 games" video.
(The approval took less than a day. π³)
Go (re)watch my videos now, please.

Hahaha, I'm literally playing Adventures of Lolo 3 on my NES right now.
It's so good.
Thank you βΊοΈ
Woooow.
Thank you so much.
Itβs incredible, Iβm extremely happy. π
It took me 1 month to make this video.
It's 43 minutes and it's jam packed with cool information about how I make PS1 games and how I made Yume Nikki PS.

Thank you. :)
It's crt-lottes:

No, everything is written from scratch.
Just using SDL + OpenGL (right now 4.6, but I'll port to 3.3 later).
It emulates PS1 GPU, but otherwise it's all native code.
It should run on any PC which supports OpenGL 4.6 (or even just 3.3, when I go back to 3.3)
The port of Yume Nikki PS to PC is going pretty well!
It runs at 60 FPS and recently I:
- Implemented Silent Hill fog on PC
- Implemented 100% accurate PS1 dithering
- Implemented a CRT shader (you'll be able to turn it on/off).

Now both Vinny and Joel have streamed my Yume Nikki PS1 reimagining.
And they both liked it.
I think I made it... π₯Ή

played ps1 yume nikki today
Yes, if you run it on a CD-R (either you have a mod chipped PS2 or use MechaPwn to run from CD with soft-modded PS2)
