To be fair, he is also a liar, thief, insurrectionist, and a war criminal.

It is a Brave New World. Age control everywhere, or just control everywhere. Except war, that is.

@legaleagle.tv if US gov decides to prosecute ICE responsible for breaking laws, and constitution. Who will they go after? Is the regular ICE Joe in danger? Can you prosecute the ones that have harmed and in other ways broken the law?
Are higher ups in danger due to actions of officers actions?

Sorglig dag för Sverige när en svensk politiker känner sig tvingad att avgå pga hoten mot hennes person. Antingen står man upp för demokratin och emot hoten, eller så är man ett hot mot demokratin! #svpol

This is the same guy that complained that a building where people were actually going to work was too expensive? While he decks out his office in gold... Gold that is super expensive right now.

The uv build backend is now stable, and considered ready for production use.

An alternative to setuptools, hatchling, etc. for pure Python projects, with a focus on good defaults, user-friendly error messages, and performance.

When used with uv, it's 10-35x faster.

I just listened to Proxima Rising: Proxima, Book 1 by Brandon Q Morris. It's the kind of Sci-Fi where it's more of what's reasonable to do within the next 100 years or so, while also exploring another solar system.

3-panel comic. (1) PERSON WITH SHORT HAIR to Person 2: Shining laser pointers at planes is a federal crime. It’s incredibly dangerous. PERSON 2: Oh, because it can blind the pilot? SHORT HAIR: That’s one reason… (2) [Laser pointed at flying airplane] (3) [Cat close to the size of the plane pouncing on airplane and taking it down]

“5/10: The EU's Deforestation-free Supply Chain Regulation (EUDR) aims to prohibit imports of seven products—including cattle, cocoa, rubber, and wood—unless exporters meet various burdensome compliance requirements, including due diligence and geolocation data.

It is estimated the EUDR will potentially impact $8.6 billion worth of annual U.S. agricultural and industrial exports.”

7/10: Illegal logging and illegal mining in South America, particularly in Brazil, Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador, fuel environmental degradation and create unfair competition that harms U.S. businesses committed to responsible sourcing and compliance with environmental laws.

These illicit activities, which usually involve transnational criminal organizations, distort global commodity markets by driving down prices and allowing bad actors to undercut legitimate American exporters.

I’m losing my mind here. USTR made a list of “Unfair trade practices” they’re retaliating against, complaint number 5 is that the EU cares too much about stopping illegal deforestation, complaint number 7 is that the South Americans are doing too much illegal deforestation

But hey, we are just free loaders of the free world over here. 🤷‍♂️

Globally accessible methods allows you to at least control the access. But singletons and global variables are two places where you increase your risk for problems. They have their place, and I think that if you can avoid them you are most likely better off.
