its a humiliation ritual, really. you can do everything right and still never get anything offered, so then it turns into luck-based matchmaking or feeling gaslit that somehow you're not presenting enough or whatever the employer wants to find wrong with you 😔
232 words written, so I can tell the self hating part of my brain to stfu
my villain complex is showing, i need to learn when to shut the fuck up
whoops
a certain event happening in another fandom im in unfortuntely is reminding me of trauma form 2019-20 that entirely changed that course of my life, but also is making me want to create more... its a weird parallel, because I fear i'd enjoy the negative attention too much if it happened again.
I have considered rewriting some of my old works, but i get a trauma response everytime i open that old folder because there's still that shame of my old fandom life, i suppose.
I see my therapist this week, i think, might wanna bring that up. I'd likely get cancelled for the same shit i did before
i would not be pissed if they fucking just told me "hey, i plan to delist item, so please cancel order after date" and I would have not taken it as bad. but no.
is that even reportable because thats such a scummy practice.
i try to order doujin second hand from a seller on Mercari, wait a bit and DM seller to see when it'll be shipped. No response. Okay, they're probably busy. It's been a week, I get cancellation approval notice. DM again, no answer, so I cancel order. NOW they delist the items. wtf
type of shit that reminds me why i still have a long way to go in my JP studies outside of basic conversations
it doesn't work well in English, basically
like for wtmg, I headcanon that Wataru is wasian and was born overseas in an English speaking country, so the idea of introducing Tsumugi to the concept of neopronouns is interesting, but to even write the idea would make more sense to do In JP for it to translate how it plays out in my head...
Flowers on your birthday 💚💐

if this makes no sense, don't worry about it
*not just gender, but it started with thinking about pronouns and now it got into shower thoughts reflections on Japanglish type convos I've had with irls so... tfw irls use my neos more when we're typing in JP because "dove" is easier as a 3rd person referral anyway
pride is coming up and thinking about writing a fic that's about exploring gender, but I keep wonder if I'm overthinking it because the pairing i want to write wouldnt have these conversation from the English language perspective so hmm...
day 3 of sore throat and yet another cold here... i feel this...
It's nice to see people enjoy my piece for the last Good Enough zine from the ensquare events group, but I guess it's just that I know for a fact I'm in a block for writing anything that's bothering me.
Makes me feel weak that there are people doing much more than me and still somehow writing.
A scrapbook-styled graphic with a light blue-gray border, primarily featuring a photograph-style illustration of rainy clouds over a field of wheat. The graphic reads "Guyu 谷雨" in a gradient teal-blue brush script, and beneath it is "Harvest Rain" in a serif font. The title text is outlined in a soft, blurred border and positioned in front of a large white cloud. Beneath the title reads "a speedrun zine about agriculture and the rainy spring" in white serif text on a blue rectangular background. The words "signups open!" are handwritten in dark blue on a torn piece of notebook paper, as well as "@ ENSQUARE EVENTS" beneath it on blue washi tape. In the bottom left corner are a few stalks of wheat; in the bottom right, a glossy orange oval sticker with a white border reading "SAVE THE BEES" and featuring a simple drawing of a smiling bee.
🌾 Signups for Guyu 谷雨: Harvest Rain are open!
🌦️ Guyu, lit. "grain rain," is the 6th solar term in the Chinese nongli calendar. This zine will focus on plants, rainy weather, growth, and the spring season!

yeah, you tell me, Miku...
bsky is not doing good, it gave me double notifs for interactions the past 2 days of posts
Please help if you can because this is a horrible spot to be in
QRPs are also filled with movies ive also seen very young... i think im cooked, chat lol
like these movies i can also trace "core memories" from, because many of the tropes i like in fiction can be directly sourced back to these 4 in some way, and i really mean it
that Artificial Intelligence movie from 2001 probably messed me up more than House of Wax did by the way; kid me was not ready for empathizing with an android kid and the existential crisis that came with it.
Many of these were witnessed from my poor child self having unrestricted access to a DVD/video tape player when left home while parents were at work. at age 5-8 range
Happy birthday Xiao 💚💚
