I like the battle system EVEN MORE (magic, kind of notoriously useless in the first game, is completely rebalanced and VERY fun here), and there's no section of the game I would call "that one part".

There's a map making program for the DS games that straight up has an option called Tile Upscaling for the sake of preventing these little holes in your map. (just makes the models a TEENY bit bigger)

The issue is that the game's maps are 3D models made of specific tiles and chunks that are actually very slightly not aligned. You cannot see this on the DS' 240p resolution, but on emulator? that shit leaks through all the time
