Data from Sheffield Solar
BMU data from Robin Hawkes
Great Britain also set a new record for peak solar generation today; 14.4 GW from "embedded" solar and another 400 MW from larger metered solar sites, for a total of 14.8 GW.
Hat-tips to @wiilp.bsky.social and @pegdeg.bsky.social for spotting today's records

NESO dashboard reports fossil low of 420 MW and 1.2%
It appears Great Britain set a remarkable new record for clean power this afternoon: between 3pm and 3.30pm, just 420 MW of 33,640 MW electricity generation was coming from fossil fuels (all gas)
Gas was just 1.2% of all generation. The rest was wind, sun, nuclear, biomass (5.5%) and imports (6.9%)

She’s decided how much the house is worth so won’t sell for less. It’s only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Sounds like it needs a lot spending on it to bring it up to modern standards.

I grateful every day that Starmer is the PM. I shudder when I look back at the dismal series of useless PM’s the Tories dumped on us.

Mandleson non story keeps running. Because it’s all they’ve got.
Now its turned out Boris Johnson failed vetting for his role as Foreign Secretary. He got promoted to PM even though this was known.
Keir Starmer was blindsided. Action will be taken.
He’s in the clear.
