How to lose friends (EU) and make bigger enemies (China)

I mean if you want Cuba to "be a friend" then maybe treat them like a friend and quit being aggressive douche bags. This isn't that hard.
This sucks but I can't help loving how Trump is getting us closer to ending fossil fuel industry by exposing how vulnerable and expensive it is. People and governments everywhere are seeing the good sense of renewables thanks to Trump.

Ossoff: "The financial entanglement, the way UAE money, Emirati money has compromised this WH is astonishing. It may be one of the most significant scandals in US history. Who are Trump's 2 chief negotiators? Kushner & Witkoff. The people doing diplomacy are at the same time on personal business."
There is just one big problem with this massive grift and obvious conflict of interest. They need approval from taxpayers because it is our dollars that would go for this inane BS and no, you can’t take humans out of the equation when it comes to killer weaponry.
The president's son, who was never involved in this industry before his father became president, should not be getting contracts from the Pentagon. This is absurd corruption that Republicans in congress will say nothing about and do no oversight. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Phelan’s firing comes after a rocky tenure under Hegseth and Feinberg, including tension over Phelan’s close relationship with President Trump, according to three people familiar with the internal discussions. Phelan regularly chats with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club, just down the street from his own Florida home, and told lawmakers last year that he texts with the president about shipbuilding in the middle of the night. The top Pentagon leaders were particularly annoyed last fall when Phelan pitched the idea for a modern battleship directly to Trump, bypassing Hegseth, the people said.Â
According to the WSJ, Hegseth abruptly fired the Navy Secretary in the middle of a crucial wartime naval blockade because he was jelly of his closeness with Trump. These are the dumbest, most embarrassing, childish nitwits alive - and they are in charge of the world's most monumental military might.
New in PN: "Now, as part of the project to undo Reconstruction, the DOJ hopes to take out the SPLC using the very tools it used to defeat the KKK. And along the way, they can exculpate every bigot who ever swung a tiki torch. *Those boys weren’t bad, they were just stirred up by outside agitators!*"
A grand jury only hears what is presented to it by the prosecuting attorney. There is no defense presented. Then the grand jury takes your word that there is enough evidence to at least move forward with charges, regardless of how frivolous they may turn out to be.
And they will, in this case.
Wow- what a way to twist it
They really aren't pretending not to say the quiet part out loud — just blatant political weaponization of the DOJ.
I really want a senator, rather than explaining the math, to just say "We all know what's going on here, Mr. Secretary. Trump said a moronic thing and now everyone in the administration, including you, has to pretend it's real. You know it isn't real. But you can't say that because you're a coward."
RFK Jr. says measles vaccine routinely causes deaths. That’s not true
If people deserve the chance to make a choice, they also deserve accurate information

That’s pretty much the cult line. All he’s got left are people who will drink the kool-aid if the order was posted on Truth Social.
Are they stroking each other under the table? What a joke.
Where’s Nancy Guthrie, Ka$h?
Are they really saying that no law enforcement ever infiltrates organization? What idiots. The case is ludicrous.
Wait until Kash learns about the FBI and protected informants.
We filed several records requests to uncover more details into FBI Director Kash Patel’s erratic behavior on the job amid alarming new reports of misconduct.
Burchett is right: the most DC thing ever *is* a member of Congress blaming the city for something he and his colleagues did themselves.
Tim Walz: "I was a 6th grade teacher for a while. I've been dealing with the Trump administration, so it's a flat thing."
Tim Walz on DHS officers who shot Minnesotans: "We're gonna bring them back and hold them accountable for what they did"
There is no excuse. None.
Republicans have the votes, they have the power—and tonight they are choosing, deliberately, to do nothing for families and everything for ICE.
Â
It’s past 3 AM and they’re jamming through $70 billion for ICE and $0 for families.
Â
Spread the word.
Chip Roy has enjoyed being in the majority for the past 2 years due to NC redistricting prior to the 2024 election. The BBB doesn’t happen without that gerrymander.
Who saved *me* - a NC voter - from a GOP majority?
Meanwhile all Virginians who voted for this need to write letters of complaint to the bar association on everyone involved.
The SECURE Data Act is not a serious effort at tackling the urgent privacy crisis facing this country. It is weaker than many existing state laws (the very state laws that it would wipe off the books with its broad preemption provision). Some examples:
Trump inviting Russia to G20 is an absolute joke.
And at Maralago an insecure hotel. Espionage party.
Prince Harry has come to Ukraine for the third time.
Meanwhile, no one from the Trump administration has done so, even though Kushner and Witkoff keep going to Russia like it’s their second home.
