We're trying a new thing in the household by meal prepping a bunch of things on Sunday and then doing bento lunches each day so we can eat healthier. I went to Daiso for some boxes and found this absolute gem.

I'm not a music expert at all, but I mostly liked it. The dance & jazz numbers are a lot of fun. The ballads are meh, esp in act 1, but pick up in act 2 as things collapse 😅 Nothing fully blew me away but I wasn't bored & did put the music on at work the next day. So, uneven but worth your time imo.

Howland. I didn't know Florence had done a Gatsby musical, that sounds rad.

I liked it! The music is like 50/50 good bops and so-so ballads, but the costuming is great, and I think it expands the characters in sympathetic ways without completely sanding off their edges or losing sight of the story's broader themes. Uneven, but worth a watch imo.
