I've interpreted it as the two names being something of a description and then their actual name.
Like the expedition/raid name is a sort of creature/phenomenon they are, and then you learn their real name when you challenge them at the peak of night.
could i make soul arrow+4 turn into 4 solaires?
Dark Souls 3 Dragonkin staring at the camera while sitting cross legged and holding an orange flask. Also their eyes are glowing blue and they have a very long neck.
Symbol of Avarice with glowing blue eyes at the bottom lip
Symbol of Avarice with glowing blue eyes in the middle
Symbol of Avarice with glowing blue eyes in the middle and crooked
Symbol of Avarice with glowing blue eyes at the top lip
Been messing with eye effects and was trying to figure out where they could go on the Symbol of Avarice.
Made a few versions and my god it was so funny
Are the Dragonnaires the Dragonriders? That's a pretty cool name 😮
Dark Souls 2 Firelink Edition is finally out!
This is a new DS2 experience with new visuals, items, weapons, armor, enemy and item location and many more changes. Tell your friends and family.
I hope you all enjoy it.
equipping a plume as a specific item sounds pretty badass
Is your Odachi class basically comically long swords like Sephiroth's? lol
yeah gotta agree lol
Resistance? ok that's pretty nea- THROWING GREATAXE?
Very cool! LotF did the same thing of having custom idles for class selection. Looks like ds3 can't do this tho, everything uses the idle anim of the first class's weapon :(
Something I worked on a bit ago when Nightreign was still unreleased was adding bow criticals. Had to implement it a bit differently to let it be compatible with different ammos, which means that you can crit with R2 as well.
yessss.... join me.....
What do you mean Fromsoftware made a fighting game in 1998?!?
I genuinely didn't know about the VS mode in Shadow Tower.
im partial to the potions of PermaPlague and HurtInstant.
Man, Nightreign's pretty fun. Get's me all excited wondering at what they have in store, like new characters or bosses and such.
there's the part of me that kinda likes the idea of even deadly poison or toxic having no bar, purely because i enjoy suffering
interesting, so far among my friends (about 5 others), most were hesitant on the removal, and i'm just testing for the vibes myself.
Vibe test - poison proccing with no resulting bar to show its duration. Also they go "ough".
the celebrants are ds3's peasant hollows, so gramgram shooting some fools is from them (the jailer variant specifically)
Since it's a full heal, I thought it'd be nice if embering (and using a divine blessing) removed the jailer's HP reduction. This is because they're full heal+status cleanse effects, and because lmao to jailers.
i have not, and while it'd make it more bonfire-esque, its also the one thing repair powders got going for them. (dont worry, i'll add more acid)
Messing with embering also curing statuses, making it basically a divine blessing. I think this is alright since it already does a full heal, and makes embering mid-encounter more meaningful.
Testing the 100mb video limit with something I was messing with - having the Shrine Handmaid act more like ER's Twin Maiden where NPC shops are added as a distinct option, instead of being part of the main shop.
Doing this to make it easier to add items to NPC shops, or add new NPC shops.
Right Hand Weapon 1 Painting Guardian's Bloodsoaked Sword+10
Making some tweaks to certain weapon infusion names, was surprised this ends up fitting lol (It's for bleed infused bleed weapons)
item that transforms you into a sad old man with a sad old man on his back with an ooga booga attack is peak, idc it sucks ass
this spot is so weird lmao
I believe since they can only be backstabbed after a poise break, it acts like a riposte where it's instant. Other poise break backstabs act similar.
That's only my answer for the lack of whiff anim, not the other part lol.
I have been working on expanding staff melee and ways to make them decent, in some sense
