Well, I did like Cursor, but today’s news doesn’t actually bode well for that situation.

They’re gonna have to make it more obvious what is/isn’t for transit or it’ll be a mess until they literally redesign the road again.

The short exit isn’t even supposed to be for cars HOV or not was what I thought the plans are. Also, it doesn’t save but maybe a few seconds at most if it backs up but for the bus riders it’s ducks over hundreds, if not thousands of riders.

I do enjoy it when Hulu gives me Spanish language commercials. It’s like a pop quiz from Duolingo.

It seems some days nobody really follows the rule for the HOV exit. I’ve noticed that too. There are a whole lot of vehicles that are not supposed to be in that lane.

Exactly! For those of us that have the headspace, it’s nice to have both! 🤘🏻💯

Just to be clear.

They show love and civility in everything they do.

It’s impossible for white supremacists to pull that off. They have neither characteristic.

If you run a meetup that is into Gen AI, coding, and related software development related things could you give me a ping? Just a direct message here on LI would work. Cheers!

There is a horrid number of interviewing processes that are utter garbage. The “do this leet code” ones are the most absurdly out of touch. More on that soon with some suggested solutions.

Have a singular or set of current state of DDL for the active database state and let source control (i.e. git or whatever) manage the over time history of the database schema? 🧵 2/2

When you're managing the state of your database and its respective schema, do you...

1. Setup migrations and have a folder with files, etc, that manage each state (version) of the database schema over time for history or...

Checked out Last Call in Frelard today.

It had a cool feel, decent vibe with some classic rock and metal.

Great Philly cheese, even with a wiz option.

Also had prominent glory hole juice 🧃 Don’t ask, I’ve no idea.

Also, no idea who Brian is but I guess fuck Brian. 🧵 1/2

Is AI actually helping or hurting development? I had things to say.

Gotta stop shopping at ALL the big box stores. Sadly the general population sold itself down the river by giving over our entire market to these shit shops while destroying small business America.

@shanembailey.com BTW almost all the big box stores do that shit. They’re a stain on life itself. They’ve been wrecking small business for decades now and it’s disgusting how they operate in such a dehumanizing way toward customers, all for not very much lower prices.

With all that said, and my miniature emotive micro-rant complete - y'all have a great day and may this Monday not be like the trope Monday's often have! Cheers! 🧵 11/11

Walk through life with humility and learn to listen, always listen, even if you are the holder of knowledge, no matter the case, and be ready to learn and also teach. 🧵 10/11

Cuz I created the thing!" 🤣

The lesson, I suppose, that I'm inferring in this miniature emotive micro-rant, is don't walk through life with the hubris and confidence that the wrong have. 🧵 9/11

It's painful, but also sometimes in that later case, hilarious to watch the person correct the confidently wrong, then mic drop with, "How do I know? 🧵 8/11

It is almost as bad, and annoying, and frustrating I imagine as someone writing a code library, component, application, or inventing something and then having someone else explain it back to them wrong and tell them they're wrong. Just wild madness among some to do this. 🧵 7/11

concepts and word usage well - that we're somehow elitist or out of touch or don't know what we're talking about.

Utterly insane and levels of hubris that I just give no care to. 🧵 6/11

But even all that gas lighting and negligent use of ideas and words, the icing that makes the shit sandwich here is, when the failures of society or organizations and people to know and use these concepts and terms and words correctly, then tells you - someone who was involved or knows the 🧵 5/11

Not just one or two misuses of these things, but the almost gas lighting nature of entire organizations (looking at whole parts of Microsoft) trying to redefine these things into other entirely new concepts, entire parts of society just ignoring or obliviously not learning these language 🧵 3/11

For example the origination of "DevOps" or "Agile" and know the original coining, intent, and purpose of these terms and principles. Also the simply things like "they're", "their", and "there", "where", "were", and "we're", or the comma usage in this very statement. 🧵 2/11

I always find it painful for those of us that understand the semantic, etymologic, systemic, historical, and related first principles of things that have happened in our life time. 🧵 1/11
