Like everything else in literature, I appreciate unreliable narrators--when done well. I appreciate first-person and third-person POV--when done well. I appreciate present and past tense--when done well. I appreciate both character and plot driven narratives--when done well, etc...

I like mountain goats, although they aren't a true goat. They are more closely related to the European chamois and the other goat-antelope species in the Himalayas.
I wasn't the one who posted the photo, but the mountain is Mt. Rainier & Little Tahoma Peak (in Mount Rainier National Park), and by the look of it, the photo was taken near the "Sunrise" area, on the mountain's NE side. I posted a couple of my photos from that area for area comparison.
As a retired educator, my experience was that public education declined at the same rate as standardized testing and tech increased.

I agree. The drama-filled spectacle one expects from a reality show host is not the same attributes I look for in an effective government leader--especially the president. When the attention is placed on public needs, a true leader's visibility often fades into the background.
