New wip: lasercut chain link, leopard pattern dress.
Newest make / wip. Shoulders made from scraps of a deconstructed adidas windbreaker I’ve had since 2011. I layered the neon red nylon on scraps of my own custom designed fabric, then quilted on cotton batting. Sleeves are made from custom printed silk, designed by yours truly. & lasercut chains.
wip—heart corset made with reclaimed materials: fluorescent pink rip stop nylon is from a deconstructed wind breaker; lining from reclaimed silk; patterned fabric behind the pink nylon is from studio scraps of custom printed spandex. Straps and skirt coming soon.
celestial confetti butterfly necklace. hand-drawn designs laser-etched into acrylic. there are three types of glitter acrylic in these.
wip. I’ve disappeared into my sewing machine for the last two weeks. I loved making this heart-shaped corset piece. I printed each piece of the pattern with cyanotype. Fabric is reclaimed from an old cotton-linen curtain.

She’s my favorite colleague. She follows me around from my office to my sewing table to my work bench. And she is well compensated in scritches and treats.
I’ve been indulging in my playful side with my laser cut jewelry, and these star-chains have been especially fun. I especially love collaging little bits and bobs in resin, like tiny pieces of treasure.
Hear, hear!!!

I made the original drawing in my sketchbook during the pandemic. After scanning, I gave it a 3D Anaglyph effect.

Forget-me-nots are an important symbol in my work. They connote having lost someone, grief, and the beauty of remembrance. These bolos all feature the little blossom in various colorways.

New necklaces and bolos in orange acrylic. Looks like orange jelly in some cases. Gives me a sunny mood in all.
