Devastated to hear the entire Marvel Studios’s Visual Development team has been let go. This was my old home but more importantly, the home of so many incredible artists and peers.
Absolutely heartbreaking 😔
Sending all my impacted peers my love and support. Please reach out if you need anything!
Every generation needs its Galaxy Quest: a movie that, despite every individual element screaming that it can't be good, is actually good
Mozart: Requiem – Lacrimosa
This is not about winning anymore.

yall remember… companies dont make art, people do. there is no disney art, there is no unreal or tencent art. they create a wrapper around someone else’s art. find out who makes the stuff you love
Serebii Update: The Nintendo Gamecube Nintendo Classics app has been updated to fix an issue with Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness that caused the game to crash and progress to be lost

Screen grab of an email: At an upcoming performance of Carmen on Saturday, May 16, Seattle Opera will be hosting a Furry Night with a special pre-show meet-and-greet with bass-baritone Christian Pursell, who plays Escamillo in the opera. Pursell will appear as his fursona, Chester the Geroo, and will be available for photos before the show. Although Pursell will not be in his fursuit onstage, we are encouraging audience members to attend the opera in their own costumes and fursuits, if they would like.
This amazing (real!) thing that is happening next month would make an absolutely incredible episode of Frasier

And I want to be clear — this isn’t new conceptually but this phenomenon has MORPHED in the last few years to be different than what it was.
You can see this in fandom culture, you can see it in how *comments* are left on fanfiction in a way that’s completely dissociant from previous etiquette.
the only thing I’ll add to this, which is an extremely valid feeling, is that I still don’t think Americans (I’ll include myself here) have any real idea the scope and scale of the destruction we have wrought on the rest of the world. Just incomprehensible the scale of the evil we unleashed
Understandable but, respectfully, this is first time several of these countries and territories have any sort of acknowledgement in relation to mainline Pokemon. So it's at least not one of those situations where its locked to Japan, as is often the case.
I mean it is pretty diabolical for them to call the city in Pokémon Champions "Frontier" when there's no single player content including no Battle Frontier
Like the game isn't buggy or flawed in the gameplay...it's just lacking so many options. It was already homogenising things with the altered stats, but now with fewer item options and only ~180 accessible Pokémon, competitive is going to suck for a while.
I've got to say, the lack of item options is going to hurt this game in the short term and I think very much damage VGC in general when VGC shifts over next month
What on earth were they thinking?
Like I said in my preview, the fundamentals are here but my gosh some of the decisions they have made are going to cause such detriment
When a game stumbles at launch, it seldom recovers
dont see it either
Hulk from Avengers 1 throwing a tantrum labelled: "Pokémon who call themselves Falinos/Falinas" Professor Hulk looking embarassed labelled: "Educated Falinx who use gender neutral language" Steve Rogers and Ant-Man staring at him labelled: "My roommates" Tony Stank looking off to the side labelled: "My FtM Gallade" THIS WAS NOT POSTED BEFORE IT'S A LITTLE DIFFERENT
Happy pokemon champions release
The Moon as seen by the Artemis II crew earlier today, showing at top the familiar dark splotches of the lunar maria, but the lower portion is part of the far side, which cannot be seen from Earth. At lower centre is a small splotch of dark, solidified lava: Mare Orientale.
The Artemis II crew is seeing parts of the Moon not visible from Earth—such as this view of Mare Orientale (the small dark splotch at lower right).
The Moon is tidally locked to us, so it rotates around its axis at the same rate it orbits Earth. To see Orientale, you have to be offworld!
same country that almost imprison someone for doing photoshoot because it was considered "corruption", stating that photography work shouldve cost 0$ 🙄🙄🙄🙄
REPORT: IGRS Rollout On Steam Sparks Backlash Among Indonesian Community via Slimepress
slimepress.com/posts/igrs-r...
This is a huge problem for Indonesians
"In the near future, STEAM WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO DISPLAY GAMES TO CUSTOMERS IN INDONESIA IF THE GAME IS MISSING VALID AGE RATING"
What this means is that any games with RC rating will be blocked in ID

"Here's what doesn't happen in war: there are no wondrous, climactic battles that leave the good guys standing tall and the bad guys lying in the dirt. Life isn't a World Wrestling Federation Smackdown. Even the people who win a war, who survive and come out the other side with the conviction that they have done something brave and necessary, don't do a lot of celebrating. There's very little chanting of 'we're number one' among people who've personally experienced war. I'm just a writer, and my main goal was always to entertain. But I've never let Animorphs turn into just another painless video game version of war, and I wasn't going to do it at the end. I've spent 60 books telling a strange, fanciful war story, sometimes very seriously, sometimes more tongue-in-cheek. I've written a lot of action and a lot of humor and a lot of sheer nonsense. But I have also, again and again, challenged readers to think about what they were reading. To think about the right and wrong, not just the who-beat-who. And to tell you the truth I'm a little shocked that so many readers seemed to believe I'd wrap it all up with a lot of high-fiving and backslapping. Wars very often end, sad to say, just as ours did: with a nearly seamless transition to another war. So, you don't like the way our little fictional war came out? You don't like Rachel dead and Tobias shattered and Jake guilt-ridden? You don't like that one war simply led to another? Fine. Pretty soon you'll all be of voting age, and of draft age. So when someone proposes a war, remember that even the most necessary wars, even the rare wars where the lines of good and evil are clear and clean, end with a lot of people dead, a lot of people crippled, and a lot of orphans, widows and grieving parents. If you're mad at me because that's what you have to take away from Animorphs, too bad. I couldn't have written it any other way and remained true to the respect I have always felt for Animorphs readers. K.A. Applegate"

A VA (marks to be exact) on Project Edens Garden got exposed for grooming long before the game started development, and the director hid that from the entire team for 4 years
Yeah I don't think I'm touching PEG ch2 unless that director is gone
