lol Petey’s “knee injury” doesn’t control his hands. He gets into a shooting position every single game and instead of ripping it like he can he either gives it away or shoots a soft wrister over the net. I’m tired of watching this management try to make things work for the kid when he doesn’t try

It’s astounding to me that management isn’t be blamed for any of this. how do we not see they crippled this team is less then a year. They turned down a trade for Necas and signed EP for 11.6. they mishandled a major locker room issue and then moved the only guy who hated losing.

Trade him where? Any GM taking a flyer on him should be fired immediately

I’ve never been a super patriotic guy, but there’s something romantic about your country owning a game. Also with everything going on in this world, this one just felt a little bit sweeter. Hats off to the NHL, this tournament was a lot more fun then anyone expected

Hughes is our star. Plenty of teams win Stanley cups without elite stars as forwards. Depth and structure wins cups more than relying on one or two guys who eat up most of the team salary cap.

The team has performing as of late without a 1st or a 2nd line centre.. you can’t convince me they can’t upgrade those two positions over the summer with 11.6 in cap.. this management can get it done. We might loose Hughes regardless if we have a broken player taking 10% of our cap

We all thought we’d retain on Miller but management got it done, I trust they’ll make the right move

Sam Bennet would be a nice addition, we all want to see Pettersson become the player he was paid to be.. but if he doesn’t and we miss the ability to trade him.. it could literally take us out of contention for the better part of the next decade.

Canucks management isn't getting enough heat.. they just traded 2 guys they signed on July 1st.. they've traded Sprong and Brannstrom, and they had to undo the Miller contract.. bad decision after bad decision as plagued the team this season.

Hard to say it’s over when they are a point out, but what’s absolutely clear is if they do squeak into a wildcard they will get absolutely thrashed in round one.
