The weather: 62 and sunny in Savannah, GA compared to 49 and sunny in Detroit

When we left, it was like 10°F in Detroit and 60°F in Savannah. I dig that the weather has conspired to make the transition back as smooth as possible!

Even if Savannah weren't a dope place to visit (which it has been so far) it's worth the trip to just hang out outside in the sun for the first time in months. I love me some winter, but I'm so very ready for spring.

A few years ago I pivoted from buying more things to spending on experiences and (give or take some over-commitment-fueled exhaustion) I have no regrets. Next year, my goal is to again average right around an event per week.

Aside from concerts, my favorite show of the year was a tight race between two Broadway in Detroit performances: "Hell's Kitchen" and "Parade". In a year full of comedy shows, sporting events, etc, those season tickets are always worth it.

It's hard to pick against a field of over 100 bands this year, but my top 5 live bands this year:

4. Highly Suspect
