We did 20 team ones as well. People seemed to like those better. I thought it was perfect for NFBC but they were not all that interested
I still remember sitting in a Dicks Sporting Goods parking lot writing up a constitution in notes so I wouldn’t forget anything. Idea popped up out of nowhere lol
TDBC was set 5 year period, we didn’t allow trading though. The 1st leagues finished last year. Stopped running new ones after 2023. Enough people liked it to where you could easily fill a 20 team league. Still had horrible retention despite just an offseason draft

- Don’t worry too much about 3B prospects, plenty will move to the position later in their career

Asked him if he would want to do either of the following:
Pete Alonso + Tony Gonsolin
for
Justin Steele + Randy Arozarena
or
Justin Steele + Spencer Steer
... and he's considering the Steele + Arozarena deal!
Gonsolin still slots into the Dodgers 6 man rotation and has potential to stick w/ injuries. Seems like a decent send back option and evens out a deal.
- Steele & Arozarena now pops up as an idea too giving some options
So let's see if we can get a deal done...
After filtering down two managers have a couple options I like
- Steele + Steer
- Pfaadt + Happ
Both deals favor the other team slightly, so let's find a $1 player from my team to add in
✅Switch to a two for two deal
✅ Look through my $1-2 players in 2nd dropdown
My biggest needs are OF and P, so would love that Steele+Steer deal.
I'd like a few more options:
✅ Expand the $ wiggle room to -$2 to $2
✅ Lower the minimum to $9
✅ Remove some managers I know wouldn't want Alonso & don't have OF/P options
In this example I'm looking to deal Pete Alonso for 2 players to build depth
✅ Want 2 decent players, set min value at $10
✅ Only want MLB players back
✅ This league has contracts & need players to be "K" designated
✅ League settings of 20 team & 5x5 BA adjusted
