A few weeks ago I decided to try and make a colour/pattern ref for my latest iteration of Dax.

And so, behold the ultra-rare twink Dax

Was a fun excercise, and made me all too aware how much effort a good ref sheet must take XD

Had a lot of other art I was studying for reference. Blob sizes are still an extremely new thing to me.

I already had massive respect for artists who draw things that lack many references, but god learning to draw blob-size stuff is such a challenge for me XD

Well Krita is still very much in the "is it worth the effort of learning a new program" stage, but it's been okay!

Took it as an opportunity to practice a bit of shading. Kinda don't hate how it looks ^^
