You know, this is a separate conversation. I disagree with you about him and the system, but that’s fine and an argument to make. I just thought this guy here was being really smug and I didn’t like it.

Writing is hard because it involves thinking, and the you come along and go, “well how come you haven’t thought about [thing everyone has already written about]”

I’m empathizing with a guy who has writers block, who ran for office to try and make a difference and worked with his community to fend off an unjust government action. His assignment is something many, from idiots to intelligent people, have wrestled with and haven’t convinced anyone…

Also, I don’t fail to understand the assignment. I have thought long and hard about this subject matter everyday and still fail to put into words a new angle that would actually push the needle. The answer isn’t your laundry list.
