DHS Creating Smart Glasses for ICE to ID People in Real-Time The Department of Homeland Security is developing smart glasses for ICE, according to budget documents.

"The glasses would be only one more addition to the rapidly expanding surveillance state under the Trump administration, which is collecting massive amounts of data on people and organizations in the U.S.”

Judge Hurson says DHS's planned conversion of a Maryland warehouse into an immigration detention facility ignored some basic environmental impacts — like how adding 100s of people to a place that currently has 4 toilets might impact the sewer system storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

U.S. Considers Financial Support for Oil-Rich U.A.E.

Seems like NYT should have mentioned that UAE's spymaster bought 49% of Trump's World Liberty Financial and used $2B of its USD1 stablecoin, directing hundreds of millions to Trump.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Chip Roy’s Deportation Nation Banishing ideas, one immigrant at a time.

NEW: A horrific new bill introduced by Chip Roy would weaponize immigration law to target "socialism"—defined so loosely as to include even advocacy about economic equality—so that naturalized citizens could be stripped of their citizenship and deported.

War can have big environmental impacts, in addition to the human and economic impacts.

Large oil spills caused by US, Israeli, and Iranian attacks on energy resource facilities won't simply disappear when the war ends.

War can have big environmental impacts, in addition to the human and economic impacts.

An analysis reported in the Guardian found that the first 14 days of the Iran war caused 5 million tons of additional carbon emissions, about the same as a mid-size fossil fuel-using country emits in a full year.

RFK on massive cuts to bio-med research:

"I don't want to cut NIH programs. Russ Vought doesn't want to cut NIH programs. But we have a $39 trillion debt."

Where to begin with this.

RFK Jr. is testifying to a House committee.

Dem Rep. Diana DeGette tangling with him over cuts to family planning services.

"The secretary refuses to tell the American women whether he will let poor women used the contraception method of their choice."

"Let the record also reflect: It is 2026."

I can guarantee you, if Hegseth reads the book "The Great Influenza" by John M. Barry, he will change his tune. This book actually shocked me with the level of deaths throughout the entire world, caused by a seemingly innocuous disease. It was devastating. Hegseth is trying to cripple the military.

SAVE Act Fails, Millions of Voters Retain Their Right to Vote for Now MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) applauds the U.S. Senate’s rejection of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act, a sweeping anti-voter legislation pushed ...

The Save Act died in the Senate, again yesterday, but with tRump’s Epstein war, most people didn’t notice.

In some South states, less than 30% of citizens have a passport, and most married women nationwide don’t have a birth certificate matching their current legal name.

. Mass deportations will correct this, worst of the worst won’t. If Plano, Texas, of all places, has this problem, then you can see how there are 100 million illegal aliens in our country. Commence mass deportations .

We are surrounded by foreigners, speaking multiple foreign languages, making it more difficult for my son to make friends.

This is my hometown. It’s unrecognizable.

I want my country back.

In 2019, Hegseth proudly told his Fox News co-hosts that he had not washed his hands in 10 years because "germs are not a real thing. I can't see them, therefore they are not real."
If he can’t see the flu virus, why bother getting vaccinated?🙄

A clip from The New York Times reads: "But only the entities that officially paid the tariffs are eligible to recover that money. That means that the fuller universe of people affected by Mr. Trump’s policies — including millions of Americans who paid higher prices for the products they bought — are not able to apply for direct relief.

The extent to which consumers realize any gain hinges on whether businesses share the proceeds, something that few have publicly committed to do. Some have started to band together in class-action lawsuits in the hopes of receiving a payout."

The average American family paid $1,700 in tariffs last year, according to the bipartisan Congressional Joint Economic Committee. Few will ever see any of that money back. The refunds will go to companies, if doled out at all. What a joke.

I have always been a big fan of Tim Cook, and likewise, Steve Jobs, but if Steve was not taken from the Planet Earth so young, and ran the company instead of Tim, the company would have done well, but nowhere near as well as it has under Tim. For me it began with a phone call from Tim at the beginning of my First Term. He had a fairly large problem that only I, as President, could fix. Most people would have paid millions of dollars to a consultant, who I probably would not have known, but who would say that he knew me well.

The fees would be paid but the job would not have gotten done. When I got the call I said, wow, it's Tim Apple (Cook!) calling, how big is that? I was very impressed with myself to have the head of Apple calling to "kiss my ass." Anyway, he explained his problem, a tough one it was, I felt he was right and got it taken care of, quickly and effectively. That was the beginning of a long and very nice relationship.
During my five years as President, Tim would call me, but never too much, and I would help him where I could. Years latter, after 3 or 4 BIG HELPS, I started to say to people, anyone who would listen, that this guy is an amazing manager and leader. He makes these calls to me,

Thelp him out (but not always, because he will, on occasion, be too aggressive in his ask!), and he gets the job done, QUICKLY, without a dime being given to those very expensive (millions of dollars!) consultants around town who sometimes get it done, and sometimes don't. Anyway, Tim Cook had an AMAZING career, almost incomparable, and will go on and continue to do great work for Apple, and whatever else he chooses to work on. Quite simply, Tim Cook is an incredible guy!!! President

1. Amazon has built powerful pricing algorithms that have learned how to steer prices upward — not just on Amazon, but across the web. I have a new piece on how these algorithms work, and how they help sustain Amazon’s monopoly.

Meta just paid the lowest effective federal tax rate in its history.

Thanks to tax breaks and loopholes, it avoided $13.7B in 2025 federal income taxes.

But now it's planning to lay off 10% of its global workforce (8,000 people) by May 20 — with more job cuts later this year.

Trickle down hoax.

Opinion | New Hungarian PM says government was funding CPAC but won’t anymore “I believe the state should never have financed them in the first place,” Péter Magyar said this week. “It was a crime.”

Not enough people are talking about this.

Hungary’s incoming PM has said that Viktor Orbán used Hungarian government funds to help finance CPAC, the flagship networking event for GOP candidates, members of Congress, and conservative media in this country.

This is exactly right. It’s not a dilemma though. It’s a line in the sand that will at once once collapse what remains of the rule of law and regulatory infrastructure designed to protect the public.

DOJ demanded voter files from all 50 states.

DOJ sued 31 states for refusing their demand.

My law firm intervened to protect voters in those cases.

DOJ is now 0-5.

My firm is 5-0.
