mas.to @alexskunz invites you to join this server of Mastodon! With an account, you will be able to follow people, post updates and exchange messages with users from any Mastodon server and more!

Sorry that I'm not sharing anything here anymore but I've decided that the Fediverse is the only social network I'll be using. (they don't HAVE blue checkmarks, for anyone, ahem.)

I'm at mas.to/@alexskunz and if you need an account you can use mas.to/invite/AswzD... to get one. :)

That is correct; it's last year's foliage that will slowly decompose... :)

Thanks, Dan. I think I mostly photograph locally... luckily, San Diego County is pretty big and wildly diverse, from the coast to the desert! :)

In theory, yes. In practice, ACR 17.x writes a (quite big) *.acr helper file (in addition to the *.xmp sidecar) that contains the "denoise mask" (if I understand it correctly). Last time I checked, LR ignored that file and didn't render the denoise from ACR, so it's not 100% compatible right now. :(

The generative AI stuff does cost one credit per removal (which includes the three variations) by now. You’ll see the amount of credits you have in the CC control software. The old photography plan & the LR plans include 250 credits per month.
