Dutton's policy is to give people who can already afford to enter the housing market a tax payer subsidy for five years on the repayments they can already afford to make. It does not increase supply, help lower income people get a deposit, or enter the market. It's a tax break for the wealthy.

Yep! Having lived & worked in many of those Grampians towns & with family still nearby, I'd hoped ABC would provide reliable, up to date information about the fires. But, no. Reporters referring to towns as 'suburbs' showed the lack of effort in learning about the places they were reporting about
