Reminds me of a project I did for Alberto Perez-Gomez's class (same but dif, a lightbulb encased in a cube of wax that would turn on when you held the cube and thus melt from the inside)...
anyways, i bullshitted my way through and still got an A-!

Me licking the blocks of ice.
Me on whatever surface Shane and Ilya and Hudson and Connor were on.
yah, heard it was a Drake thing and said to my sister, I wonder if they calculated this renewed cold spell into it all? lol
my face exactly
Me sitting on blocks of ice with the blocks piled behind up 12' high
This is Canada

Blocks of piled ice about 12' high under the Toronto skyline. With people sitting and standing around it.
Me looking questioning at the blocks of piled ice about 12' high under the Toronto skyline behind my sister and I.
In Toronto, when they send in ICE, this is what they mean.
Still, wtf?
Seeing the film also puts the whole BAFTA Awards incident into heartbreaking perspective.
Robert Aramayo. Gah.
And yah. What a well deserved BAFTA. The teenage actor was also amazing.
As for the movie I Swear itself? πππππππ

Seeing the Richard Aramayo BAFTA winning performance in I Swear (the one where he beat Leo and TimothΓ«e).
Sex sells
finally caught up with High Potential...
was it me or was S2 still fun but slightly messier and not as crisp as S1?
And they totally underused the other cops Daphne and Oz as well as the kids (who had been integrated into S1 so well).
By the middle of S2, it felt a little more like a chore.
did anyone ask for Copy-Pasta?
That was GREAT!
I originally had slight problems w/ the book and thought it needed to skewer the white Mormons more, and still do...
but the songs HOLD UP. So despite some (of the same cringe I always felt was there)... still had fun and enjoyed it overall.
I don't remember enough to know the differences but I loved the I Am Africa segment.
Although, the Jeffrey Epstein change is a nice update, but if they're going racist with the whole general concept anyways, why lose the typewriter? (I'm still unsure if that update to a tablet works/is necessary).
This touring cast was super impressive though and far better than I expected.
So... the music DEFINITELY STILL HOLDS UP. BOBBY F%$KIN' LOPEZ! Songs still slap!
Still laughed a lot though not as much when you lose that initial surprise on repeat viewings...
still the same cringe I noted originally and should have skewered the white Mormons even far more.
But... stil fun.
aye I didn't realize. (but was impressed with the talent mostly).
oh, it's non-EQ??? oh.
(I actually thought the cast was mostly AMAZING and was impressed with this tour)
π
Oh wait, I must have seen the Toronto first tour. 12 years ago. Still, before I started using Google Calendar apparently.
With Gavin Creel as Elder Price ππππππππ RIP
Programme for The Book of Mormon at the Princess of Wales Theatre with an all white background and the BOM doorknob logo.
I haven't seen BOM again since it first opened in London, 13 years ago. Lord.
Let's see if this holds up.
I missed Flex π
but glad I've been introduced to Jasmine and Sousa here! β€οΈ
I liked Clyde's but it's actually less about Clyde' herself and more about her crew eh?!
Thought the Toronto cast was excellent, with Sterling Jarvis and Sophia Walker always so reliable. And not sure I've seen Jasmine Case or Johnathan Sousa before but new fan!

Oh noooooo
OH FOR SURE
they already turned Feist's song into a picture of HudCon jogging and "All The Things She Said" into images of flashing HudCon in a club.
The power.
not even a week later and they've already manage to make hearing Bowie's classic famed "Fame" so that all I can picture is Hudson dancing on a branded treadmill
