Autistic adult reality check: I’ve had 3 meltdowns so far today.

Probably not dissimilar to Deaf people having to learn to speak and lip read then hearing folks saying “oh it doesn’t matter” or “I’ll tell you later”

It’s an explanation and I have great autistic social skills thanks. It seems you need to polish up on your autistic social skills because my non autistic social skills have been practiced from birth for me.

#autisticLife as an AuDD ground up thinker I’m definitely torn between the need for structure & the need for spontaneity! If I try to spice things up a little in the bedroom my ADD owns it but the Tism has to correct any untruths which is just hilarious! 🙄😂🙄

Things I do as a late discovered AuDD (Autistic, Dopamine Driven) human that just make sense.
Trimming my own hair,
Keeping my nails short,
Stimming -even when it confuses onlookers,
Not taking myself seriously,
Being my true authentic self (I attract folks ready for me & repel those who are not)
