havoc is pretty much the only thing you can wreak

I think if I worry about it a little bit more it'll solve everything
2FA stands for 2 Falafels, Alright. not many people know this
I am picturing a future pond of Barry tears in there somewhere, maybe a little ornamental bridge
Our home planet, the only place in the galaxy that doesn’t suck
The last time human eyes were far enough from Earth to see the whole globe was December 1972.

A cartoon frog sits on a cloud in a meditation pose with a look of happiness on its face, eyes closed, a rainbow in the background, and a bumblebee buzzing overhead. Text above and below the picture says “breathe… relax exhale the fuckery”.
I am not a pin person whatsoever, but just seeing the ads somehow make me smile, so if you ARE a pin person and this one makes you happy, do me a solid and reward the creativity at mindcoco.shop. No affiliation, just something about this pin feels like #onegoodthing

An Apple EarPods pro case viewed such that the bottom and front sides are visible, a sticker has been placed on the front, the sticker shows cartoon eyeballs, and the USB port on the bottom looks like a mouth. Of such a small thing is joy manufactured, also the EarPods are now easy to describe if they get lost
I had to do it #onegoodthing
Against my better judgement I decided to post the code for the directory service last night.

Does this mean we finally find out how the [ @blowdart.me | @sinclairinat0r.com | Beans ] love triangle resolves?
Two perfect cherry blossoms are proudly open, up close with the rest of the tree ready to follow very soon
The first of the cherry blossoms are blooming on York Street #onegoodthing #sanfrancisco
An animated waffle with arms and legs smiling at the viewer captioned with the words “don’t be a twatwaffle”
Funny I thought this one would be your fave

A frazzled wet shaking raccoon with panicked staring eyes holding the hilt of a large shaking sword in one hand and a steaming to-go hot beverage likely containing needed caffeination. The caption of the picture says “okay I’m here… where’s the work?”
I found my spirit sticker for my new work laptop too:
That makes me wonder what archaeology is at the bottom of the chest freezer my parents have had since I was a child…
Maybe this is the anti-#onegoodthing 😆
A small plastic bottle shaped like a lemon with a green lid ostensibly containing lemon juice and stamped with a best by date of Nov.04.12 (or Nov.04.18 depending on how you squint)
Not sure if that is a 12 or an 18 but I think we can safely say that “best” may now be aspirational
Did you see their cover of Girls just Want to have Fun? Even better IMO
A gorgeous view of azure waters gently washing up against a rocky beach and surrounded by old villas
The snack made the view much prettier.
An informative sign about a lovely citadel on a mountainside constructed in the 1600s to the right of the photo. On the left is a simple sign pointing to the left that simply says SNACK.
The trail continues, with the same sign attached to a low curving rock wall, pointing the way to SNACK
Getting close to the long and arduous hike up a literal mountainside, the SNACK arrow is bolted to a green metal railing and pointing to the right
My kind of tourist attraction #onegoodthing
Looks like it is in London, the artist of the mural is Vera Bugatti according to this source: inspiringcity.com/2017/01/29/g...
The derpy birb screams at a competitor above to back off (I assume; or maybe it had opinions on the state of modern finance, who knows)
Turf was defended
A very derpy birb has made itself comfy on a metal balcony railing and stares inside, waiting for human servants to emerge with snacks. Behind the derpy birb is a gorgeous orange sunrise, perhaps the birb is watching the sunrise in the reflection on the glass.
Getting stalked by a stodgy seagull at sunrise was a surprise this morning #onegoodthing
It turns out there are times when the judgement of a human is important, this is a critical feature. Case in point, the passenger who found himself driving through a sideshow 🏎️
A photo from behind an unidentified man whose face is not shown but is holding a cellphone to focus on his view of the Davinci painting of the Mona Lisa. You can’t see it but he is at the front of a big pushy crowd waiting to get their own shot of a very popular lady.
Who needs a photo of the Mona Lisa when you can have a photo of a photo of the Mona Lisa, amiright? Winning! #onegoodthing
In case anyone wants a little break, here are a few of my favorite facts that I learned in 2025, in no particular order.
Some trees benefit from, and may even encourage, getting struck by lightning because it kills their nearby competitors nph.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1...
That is tough, they have grief over the world they know and yet they should be excited over the *next* world you invent. maybe you could go with something like “don’t worry, the next series will have more dwarves in ruffles” and just non-sequitur them into pondering the bright future ahead?
Cat wandered in front of the camera during the #aurora long exposure
A black espresso machine sits on a kitchen counter. The machine is a simple steel frame 11 inches tall by 8 inches wide by 9 inches deep with two buttons and a knob on the front. The buttons are big and beefy rockers and a tiny green light are embedded in each rocker. One button turns the machine on, starting the boiler. One forces water through the machine’s “portafilter” with a handle and a basket to hold grounds at (I assume) high pressure. The knob forces a variable amount of water through the steam wand. There is nothing else, no screens or preset buttons, no grinder or timer, it is just a thing you plug in, that heats water and diverts it under pressure. The model is an espresso classico by Saeco.
Today’s #onegoodthing: There is something gloriously tactile about manipulating the electro-mechanical buttons on this old espresso machine to make a tasty drink. Why it should make a difference, I can’t explain but it brings me joy nonetheless.
