Yes I can imagine that. I’m glad you’ve reclaimed it. I like quiet. It’s one of my main reasons for preferring to live alone now - that most people like wall to wall tv and I can’t focus on anything if it’s on.

Ruminating over my bikes and the article I read about cycling rather than walking being better as we age. Would probably be better for my foot. The roads here look idyllic but the loggers might take me out. Cycled on tiny scary roads very close to waggons in the lakes. But you fear not when young.

Today is the 2 year anniversary of when I met the Ravens. They just checked me out from a distance then! Here is some of my fav footage: them courting, feeding each other, barrel rolling and some of their vocalisations. They are the most amazing birds and I am so lucky to have them!

I wondered why everything looked so “different” this morning. Then I recall the vacuuming at midnight business. Laundering the heated blanket and so on.

I planted my lupin seeds a while back. I hope I didn’t peak too soon. I shoved my onion setts in and then decided to lay a border edging for the lawn beside them and dug up half the soil they were in. However some are still coming up. I got some little plants as they did well last year.

Thank God (or something) for a sense of humour.

I don’t rate their success with the Hovering sic. Wire Tripping. Cordless ones are usually very tall and they’d get the handle between their legs causing a tripfall hovering fail. They probably prefer just to sit about and offer advice
