Took a break from art to deal with the recent unemployment situation, so I did some doodles to shake off the rust. I had some funny ideas relating to Eva and her "spoiled pet cat" like qualities, so I decided to go with that as a theme.

I still have trouble wrapping my head around how the animation works in CSP (at least in v1, idk if they changed it for later versions). I've got the basic gist from playing around with it, but it still kinda feels like working with alien technology lol.

Also, additional context for anyone seeing this outside my audience. All these characters are original designs (I like monsters, but I have human characters too lol). And the video is from a WIP project. I've been creating a game from scratch to teach myself coding and gamedev.

Got laid off earlier this week, so I'm on the hunt for a new job. Most of my professional experience is as a game artist, but I'm flexible. I do character design, concept art, animation, etc.

I've never watched One Pace since I'm very much a "I want the complete experience, good and bad" kind of person with artistic media. But I also find One Pace pretty interesting from the outside. Like I wonder how different the experience is from the original.

I've seen some other artists do this for their birthdays recently, so I figure why not give it a try.

Pick your favorite and draw them if you want. I love seeing art of my characters, no matter the quality, so I'll give a repost to anything anyone makes!

I've definitely played games where that was all but confirmed to be the case, specifically with being close to a rank up. I don't think Deadlock does that (at least not intentionally), but it definitely feels like it when I want to end on a win for the night and get a crazy streak of awful luck lol.

It all sounds like mega cope. But ever since I set the matchmaker to prefer only solo players, I've won every single game and rocketed up through the ranks, undoing all the damage done by streaks of what felt like really bad luck. I've never felt more vindicated in my LIFE lol.

I noticed that most games I was in, I was going against teams with big, coordinated parties (I was asking people). And average ranks were all out of whack because of parties with disparate ranks, so I was often thrown into teams with really low rank players to "even things out".

I recently found the console command that lets you tell the matchmaking system you prefer to only play with other solo players when you're playing solo, rather than being a filler player in games with parties of friends all coordinating in Discord and ignoring in-game VC.

A long time ago, I stopped caring about ranks and stuff in competitive online games because, as a solo player, it always felt like my rank was less about my personal skill and more about the whims of the matchmaking system.

But I discovered something in Deadlock recently...

I guess there's something about the Zelda art that just makes it not very popular with the algorithm or my followers. Though a lot of artists struggle with their fan art completely overshadowing their OC art in popularity, so I guess I'm happy to have the inverse problem lol.

A cool mutual of mine did some cool OoT fan art recently and reminded me that I need to do more Zelda art myself.

I drew some of my favorite Zelda characters over 5 years ago, but it got no traction. So I figure it's worth reposting since it's basically new to almost all of you now lol.

She's one of my mains too (along with Vyper), and she's very fun in non-support roles as well. Since they recently un-nerfed her melee damage, I've been working out a good tanky brawler build for her with big HP and lots of stone form for stuns and heals. Definitely not meta, but pretty fun lol.

I tried posting on reddit once. My post got removed by a mod because I shared my own art instead of somebody else's. That was the last time I posted to reddit lol.

This same thing happened to me with my first apartment. Moved in and the shower drain was already completely clogged day 1. Ended up pulling Bigfoot's Summer shedding outta there. And since it was my first apartment I was like "God, I hope this isn't normal" lol.
