Solas is always a badass but At the Eleventh Hour Solas is even more badass than usual because reincarnated Iris is in a vulnerable position in her life and has no training as a combatant, so he immediately feels very, very protective of her.

As someone who hasn’t even been able to get more than 2 hours into the game on “hard” (I like choosing companions for story and not utility 😂), this achievement has definitely impressed me!

This is what everyone talks about: grief being a glitter bomb that just goes off, huh.

I took transit pretty much everywhere I couldn’t walk to until the change last year and now a good 30% of the time I just throw in the towel and take an Uber. It’s absolutely terrible now.

(I would just walk to the appointment but it goes through an area that’s a bit rough that I won’t walk in alone.)

So, I have a doctors appointment this AM to hopefully get something to deal with my 9+ week cough. Looked up transit - under the old system I had a 5 minute walk and was dropped off nearly at the door. Under the new one, I’ve got 20 minutes of walking and a 4 minute bus ride. 😩

Guess I’m Ubering. 🤷‍♀️

BAFTA pulling a trailer for an autobiographical game about surviving sexual assault only hours before it was said to be a part of a showcase is an exceptionally bad look.

Essentially, they have more old married couple energy than all of Thedas put together and I love that for them.

However, Solas also finds fun in buying the worst trendy fashions (think distressed jeans or those shutter shade sunglasses) and wearing them around the house, daring Iris to complain so they have something to bicker about.

(She always does and it brings Solas great joy.)

In modern Thedas, Iris loves button-up shirts with prints that are a little too loud for Solas (think subtle florals instead of Solas’ preferred ‘solid colour or stripes only’). She purchases them for him anyway and he indulges her when they’re on vacation.
