And they not complaining about it when they are at my door hungry cause they missed in-school breakfast cause they dropped off their sibling first.

Keeping snacks on hand assists in addressing immediate student needs at the most basic level. snacks are an easy entry point for students to come and talk to their School Counselor. It allows us to turn a simple request into a quick check-in that could change the trajectory of their entire day.
