Well, this sucks. I got myself all ready to stream and the minute I went to go Live, i just...can't do it. I can't. The idea of being on and playing something new and trying to be engaging...it feels impossible.

My mom passed today at 4:05PM.

I held her hand through the end. She waited until I left the room, but jokes on her, my partner held vigil while I took some much needed time outside.

I’m shattered, but relieved. No more pain for her.

I am not at all prepared for what I have to do.

But I owe it to my mom to do it.

She’s going into hospice care tomorrow. I will be prioritizing spending her remaining time on earth with her.

I will be MIA for a while. Thank you all for your love and support

They put so much work into it. Amazing job into all of their VA work, the game internal timing, the effort to animate literally all the things at any time in-game, they gave us so much NPC backstory to the point they actually felt important to the overall story line.

I guess they aren’t on social media anymore but #ModernStorytelling did such an INCREDIBLE job with The Forgotten City like, holy shit. It’s a brilliant game.
