For context:

The live frequency visualizer was using an experimental API which had undocumented compatibility issues with mobile (curse you Apple). We have since made the audio player stable by making this feature only for desktop users. All should be good now if you restart!

Audiochan is now an app on your phone home-screen 🎉

NSFW is policed on the app store, so we turned the site into a PWA (Progressive Web App). PWAs *feel like* a native mobile app by loading faster and stripping away the ugly browser address bar.

If you posted your audio last week there was a bug where the tracker was stuck tracking listens so it capped each listen at 15/30s mark.

A fix has was rolled out for the listens going forward. Sorry for the confusion, 1 min avg listen is def unusual.

Listeners can now follow your profile and get email/in-app notifications whenever you post a new audio or script. Follow button shows on audio/script pages and your profile.

For existing creators, we've made all listeners/readers who have added your content to collections to auto-follow you. 😎

Script editor has been upgraded to adapt to your own unique writing system. As each writer has their own system for actions/sfx/etc, the editor detects all symbols and applies unique color coding 😎

Audiochan believes that creators FULLY own their content. This means much more than just having protection from their content being stolen. Creators include writers, VAs, editors, etc. To us:

1. All creators should have full control over who gets to see their content and how they monetize.

I just wanted to chime in and say that Andy approached me in DMs to ask for consent to use my Audios that I uploaded as the new demo page.

It was clear to me that he immediately wanted to do the right thing and do it right.
