I've never seen a neutral opinion on the remake trilogy and I think that's great.

That’s just my guess though, and I’m really glad that the trailer left us with nothing to confidently piece together. It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited for a movie I know almost nothing about.

I’m not sure what the current theories are but I’m guessing that the Americans are attacked by Godzilla, and in response they just try to nuke him (again) which just makes him even more huge (again). Then the crew from the first movie saves the day.

You can try, you can absolutely try. But the Amazon series and The Hobbit movies have proven that it’s pretty much impossible to replicate the impact and success of the original trilogy.

I do think it’s kind of funny that, since Tolkien isn’t around, Hollywood has no idea how to milk the series other than constant re-releases and producing really shitty fanfics.
