Wouldn't have managed half of the work without it.
It's funny when the tiny bird starts chirping. I know it's close by but scanning the bushes I won't see it because it sits often right next to me.
I hope I'll never hurt that little thing by accident.

Finally got my compost heaps sorted, under the watchful eye of a tiny red robin.
I very much hope that National Theatre live will bring it to cinemas in Europe and the US. People need to see it. If they're capable of understanding the meaning of the play might be questionable but I hope some people get a wake-up call when they see it.
Saw The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui. As expected, Mark Gatiss was fantastic as Ui but it's a very disturbing part he plays. He turns from a disgusting person to something far worse.
At the bows, you could clearly see that he was exhausted.
I'm looking forward to seeing the play again in May.
I declare this Friday as being successfully concluded. Had a good workout at the gym, and donated blood later.
Now tea, sofa and a bit of TV before bedtime.
My bees are up and about. Sound on. ๐
Quite. ๐๐ป
And they do their best to eat all the leaves that fall into the pond. <nomnomnom>
Finding at least one or two of the tiny snails or some other pond-dweller on each old leaf I retrieve from the pond, it's going to be summer until I finish cleaning it. Yes, I threw all of them back in - minus their leaf.
Second week without sweets, alcohol and salty snacks accomplished.
Lost two pounds by eating more protein instead, and I went to the gym today. ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
Obviously I meant that I didn't cave in.
I'm soothing my aching sweet tooth with fruit and protein shakes that don't have extra sugar.
Thank you.
Whatever decision you make, it's the one right for you.
I got tempted by a bowl of sweets I don't even like on Saturday but managed to cave in. I declare the first week of Lent a success. ๐
And here's a link to the film

Here's an introduction to a short film with Mark Gatiss (among others).

Absolutely. And the opposite of having good neighbours can be total hell.
I didn't. I pushed the snow shovel while walking back and forth several times today. It was more walking with a bit of resistance than shovelling.
Cleaned the sidewalk in front of my neighbour's property too, which shows that there wasn't much strength necessary.
Winter returned with more snow.
Honestly, a terrible mistake is getting drunk into your car, definitely not mixing up authors. I certainly don't mind or be upset about it.
Please, stop worrying about it. Hugs!
Don't worry about it but perhaps tell them (maybe again) how much you love their work. I'm sure it will make their day.
Uhm, that's not something I've written, as far as I remember. Sorry.
I don't feel inspiring but thank you anyway.
But necessary. I neglected my health during the long winter. Besides, I barely drink alcohol and crisps and such are rarely on my agenda these days. So it's only sweets really I need to refrain from eating.
You don't have to do all of it. A sister in arms who abstaines from eating sweets would be most welcome. ๐
Lent hasn't quite started yet but I decided to start a bit earlier this year to abstinent from all sorts of sweets, alcohol and salty snacks like crisps until Easter. ๐ฐ๐ท
Anyone who wants to join, please give me a shout.
Furthermore, wood pigeons are famous for their lack of nest building skills to begin with.
Some of the visitors that came to feed today - an Eurasian jay, blackbird, great tit, and a wood pigeon.
I really enjoy watching them. I moved the camera to a different location, so there should be different birds in the next set of pictures.
Mostly it's a whole variety of tits.
