In the New York Review of Books there is a review of a new book on free will. It is written by a biologist and reviewed by an historian. The review makes no mention of the most common position on this issue taken by philosophers. This is a clear indication of how the public sees us.

I agreed to take a three-year term on the Executive Board for FAHE (Friends Association for Higher Education). I suggested they look for someone younger, but younger Friends seem to be hard to find.
