I have had many a great night at an Alarm gig, this one will be a bit different but I am expecting a room full of fans to sing along as we always do.

Great band. They appeared in my instagram feed and I have listened to their two released songs a lot. London band, sound like late 80s goth. No evidence of a gig yet, I look forward to a live show one day.

I have never seen so many places to get ear plugs. Loads of people not wearing them near me, as a sufferer of tinnitus from gigs, I wish I / society had been more educated about this is the nineties.

The last time I saw MBV in Manchester it was the summer of 2008 and my life was in a bad place. I was out on my own and felt very alone surrounded by people enjoying themselves. I think this was the only time I have felt like this at a gig.

It will be so much better tonight!
