Poor Brakayla the Vanagon has been sitting disabled in our driveway for a couple weeks.
What was supposed to be a routine timing belt change has turned into a fiasco after encountering a stripped bolt and discovering a new coolant leak. 😭

As much as we love the desert vibes, there’s a certain magic the mountains hold.
It’s where we find mental clarity and a sense of wonder.Trekking through tall peaks makes us feel small in the BEST way possible. ☺️
We plan on gettin’ lost in the mountains later in the summer—exactly where is TBD.

Ahhh, miss those days of rippin down desert roads getting the van covered in dirt/sand!!

Looking ahead to 2025, returning to the desert is number one on our list. Our springtime roadtrip can’t come soon enough!🏜️

More than anywhere else, being camped out in the vast landscape of the desert feels like Home to us. 🌵🚐

In the middle of our Tennessee campout over the long Thanksgiving weekend, we took a little drive across the state line into Georgia. Our destination was Cloudland Canyon. This one had been on our list for a while, so it was nice to finally cross it off! 📝

We found a sweet Hipcamp with a killer view last week! Pretty sure we were LITERALLY on the edge of the Cumberland Plateau in SE Tennessee. Most of our time at camp was spent by the fire staring at that view.😍

Here’s one from a fun HipCamp we stayed at last year in Florida. We LOVE staying at farms via HipCamp! The hosts are always so nice. Plus, having animals in the mix guarantees a fun time.😊

Sunset at The Wall🌅

This spot at the edge of Badlands NP is one we'll never forget! As crowded it was, we somehow managed to have loads of space.

We still have one more roadtrip planned for 2024, but we're positive this camp from this past May has already sewn up our Top Camp of the Year award.🏆

One of our favorite places to camp. It can very desolate in spots, but its otherworldly formations keep us coming back.🤩 I swear, each time we visit, we find another pocket of craziness!
