Also, they made the whole plane out of fanservice.

I swear I'm not digging for fanservice, Project Eden just has a lot of great drawings that you can only see for a 12th of a second. It's kinda the only reason Yuri is in it, honestly.
I’ve always wanted to hold a small pinball tournament where the only rule was that you’re not allowed to move Meatloaf.
Just looka this dope shit!
The ending did manage to make me cry, but it was capitalizing on emotions and attachments built up by the rest of the series, not really enhanced by the 15 hours of game that led up to it. But now I'm glad to move on to Infinite Wealth and say goodbye to Kiryu definitely for really reals, probably.
Finished Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. It was... a middle of the pack Yakuza, I was happy to play as Kiryu again, and experiment with a pretty different fighting style, but the story was mostly meh with a few bright spots and holy shit were there too many enemies on the streets.
Just looka this dope shit!
GREAT movie, and it barely has any pretensions of taking itself seriously, but it has a lot of awesome, gorgeous individual sequences. Really shocked I haven't seen more clips from it shared by sakuga fans especially the final sequence animated in slow motion that goes on for 3 minutes (!!!)
Towards the end of Dirty Pair: Project Eden I had a weird thought, which is that it's kind of like the Heavy Metal or Rock & Rule of anime movies. Not just because it literally has a lot of musical sequences, where the action is timed to it and all other sound drops out, but because... it's not a
Good thumbnail on this Vinesauce vid
Although considering the ep where Kei and Yuri get mistaken for a bank-robbing husband and wife because Kei was dressed like this on her day off, she probably didn't have to be persuaded.
Thinkin about the Dirty Pair ep where they help a con man rip off an evil billionaire and the gag just sunk in that the plan has Kei wearing unique disguises to pass as a man three times, but never as a woman.
The short people started wearing tall boots. Stacks. Taller and taller. Then stilts. Soon the tall people were the short people. They got boots too. Then stilts. Taller and taller stilts. It was a legs arms race. At first ceiling fans were the leading cause of death but that was overtaken by hypoxia
I think people are too harsh on the special stages in Sonic 1 considering the programmer had just gone through a bad breakup and was depressed and hungover and angry at the entire world when he was making them. I mean, I don't know that to be true, I'm just assuming.
Just thought "but what if the Street Fighter movie gets big enough to have sequels with Sakura and Juri and Cody and Q and R. Mika" and for a second I understood the super defensive and supportive fans of the Mario and Sonic movies
Went to grab my phone before I went out and there was a stinkbug crawling on it, and gentle as I was he still stinked all over the case before I could flick him off outside ;_;
One of my all-time favorite panels…
The really funny thing is you know they asked ChatGPT for ideas about how you could integrate ChatGPT into Starbucks at least ten times and the best they could come up with is "I feel like licorice. Do they have a licorice coffee?" "Sorry but no! But have you considered mint? It's also a flavour!"
Wait, so, it's an actual

I don't like a lot of the decisions the Street Fighter movie looks to be making but I'm glad it's making strong enough decisions for me to feel something about them.

Been tightening my belt lately and only splashing out money on the truly hardcore games for elite gamers like myself
But the fans LOVE Tom! Can you imagine the number of SF fans that would be smashing their sticks and pounding their desks across the nation if we didn't find out what happened between Alex, Tom, and... uh... Tom's daughter?!
As with Project A-ko, discovering weird shit looking into Dirty Pair after the fact. Like the fact that both Eclipse and Dark Horse did multiple comic runs based on it, with guest covers drawn by Adam Hughes and Bruce Timm! (but I can say the DH comics bear very little resemblance to the OG series).
Totally worth watching, and it's going to be an amazing show when I rewatch it... because like Slayers I'll be skipping about half the episodes.
But... some of the writers on the show just did not seem to get K&Y and wrote them as just silly shallow girls who snipe at each other's looks constantly, and a few episodes are just a slog or feel like when a TV writer would repurpose a rejected script by just writing Magnum P.I. into a few scenes.
