It’s exactly the difference between Bsky app and @skeetsapp.com. On Skeets app you don’t have to follow each other to receive each other’s notifications. I don’t follow Guardian Australia and it certainly doesn’t follow me but I still can receive its notifications om Skeets app, but not on Bsky app.
