I keep forgetting to post on here, so’m…here’s a word count update on the draft of my Rapunzel retelling I’m working on edits for.
My goal is 30k and I’m on chapter 9 of 13 + the epilogue. Think I’ll definitely get to 30k! #amwritingfantasy

But it totally and completely depends on the feedback being given, and what type it is (grammar/sentence structure VS plot/character development, for example).

The general rule I try to keep in mind these days is that if one person says it, it’s their opinion (depending on what it is), and I should keep it in mind.
If multiple people say the same thing as the first, I should probably take it seriously and consider it.

My alpha reader finished reading my Rapunzel retelling draft and she LOVED it! 😭❤️ Now I just have to finish these edits from her feedback and I can look for more alphas so I can do a second round of edits from their feedback!

I also tend to break things any time I try to tweak coding, lol 😂 which is one reason why Wordpress and I are not always the best of friends, it can be a pain to deal with if you accidentally break something in the coding (at least in my experience).

I use Dreamhost as the actual host for the website ‘cause it comes with Wordpress. It does come with a way to search for free templates without having to go off of the website, but I don’t like most of them, lol. I do know basic HTML but that’s about it, I’m very rusty with it.
