I always wanted to spend time down at Taunton watching Somerset and having a Wurzels sing a long! Life got in the way of that so it never happened! At least I can catch them on YouTube these days when I’ve got the time which is brilliant! So do it when you can!

Not really! It’s south facing and brilliant in winter sunshine but the north wall particularly is a heat sink! That needs dry lining! We came here from a new house we bought in 1978. My brother lives there now and it feels so much warmer with the inner skin of insulation blocks!

Best thing I have done in recent times is add solar panels and batteries at our cottage built in 1860! Have a car charger too and just bought an EV! Thinking about a heat pump but we have solid walls so that makes it a more difficult problem to resolve, but will keep checking!
