I was thinking since Goatmire Elixir turned out pretty good I should maybe do another one. 30th of Sep - 2nd of Oct this year.

Sad to have missed it, but some home renovation over the last few weeks favored staying at home. Hope to see you guys next year though.
Maybe it really does come down to there basically being IRL PvE people and IRL PvP people.
The latter will never be happy just getting along with the former. And the former will always be vexed why some people just want to ruin everything.
I'd also argue that this is already half of a runtime. Just a purely functional one :D

Yeah, reactive data really belongs to a runtime implementing said reactivity. Struct are to low level for that on elixir.
How does this work? Svgs don't really support custom elements, does it?
Don‘t be. I‘d love to hear you give a talk. In the end we all worry about our talks and how good they will be. Imposter syndrome is a hell of a thing.
There‘s still a bit to go to making this happen. Rebar is an important piece to using erlang not just for erlang, but just as much for elixir, gleam, … Consider backing this effort.

Even if you don't use this for "animations" you can make e.g. your navigation transition from one page to the next. Though some fade-in fade-out can be nice as well.
I was about to complain that the ones I added to my personal site earlier this month do not work, but they're server rendered/different documents.
Firefox is the last browse to support view transitions. These are gonna allow server rendered pages to transition between each other (but also works for SPAs/client side rendering)

I'm so ready for an LSP making use of the elixir 1.18 compiler listener features. It feels like the only reason elixir-ls gets stuck for me: dependencies having changes in a way it wouldn't want to compile to .elixir-ls anymore.
