IE5 and IE6 were both massive pain, IE7 and IE8 started to right the ship and eventually Microslop just gave up and turned Edge into yet another Blink-derivative browser like everyone else (except Apple and Mozilla)
extremely true as well, but this is about rendering delivered emails, the Word renderer is so far behind that basically you get to pretend you’re designing for IE5
(honestly, even IE5 was in some respects more advanced than this trash)
whoever at Microsoft is responsible for Outlook on Windows still using Word’s HTML renderer, I just wanna talk

Sonic has taken away all-day half-price drinks in the app. electric chair, immediately
Not A Lawyer but when the potential consequences include a $230 million judgment against the city, maybe the best legal strategy is not to just start mashing random buttons to see what happens (and that’s true whether you’re for or against the project/TIF)
ORED: “we’re going to sue the city because we think the TIF ordinance is illegitimate”
Norman city council: “ok cool but like, hurry”
[weeks pass and bonds get issued]
ORED: “actually can you sue us to get the answer to a different legal question?”
council: “…no?”
ORED: “HOW DARE YOU”
here’s how ORED can still stop the Rock Creek Entertainment District (thread) 👇

my outlook for severe weather this week is as follows:
PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what time will the most active pattern for tornadoes since 2011 hit my backyard
leave it to an ally of Larry Heikkila to get 47.98% in the February Norman city council elections just to go on to lose support in the runoff

The Supreme Court ruled that nobody is a U.S. citizen
Chief Justice Roberts stated “No person can be in this country. We all have to leave. Now.” The judges packed up their robes and are getting on a boat

the more I use Liquid Glass on macOS, the more I feel that a lot of this aesthetic just doesn’t work on the Mac, and certainly its current implementation
after having used Liquid Glass in Xcode and Pixelmator Pro, keep it far, far away from IDEs and creativity apps

the utter humiliation I’d feel complaining to a plainclothes mall cop about my TikTok live being interrupted. simply boggles the mind
she also told me “you could have waited” as if she has exclusive access to the gym while she’s in there
anyway, when I mentioned “poor gym etiquette” to the property manager this afternoon she immediately and correctly guessed who I was talking about, so
antisocial/narcissistic behavior, whew
(note that she had music blasting on a huge speaker such that I could hear it over my AirPods from *outdoors* and she’d moved equipment out of the way, both of which are against the rules)
last night someone who has a past of poor etiquette at my apartment complex’s gym complained to the overnight security because I had the nerve to interrupt her TikTok live dance session by [checks notes] running on the treadmill in the opposite corner of the gym from her, DM for interviews
