I unexpectedly was given the chance to use a Buchla synth in 2015. I haven’t had the chance again since, but that’s surely an unrelated fact..? 😜

Perhaps labels should brag when using POW-r #3 dithering, because it’s ONE MORE DITHERY than POW-r #2. “Don’t settle for less!”
The time to fret about such audio engineering minutiae is at the mastering stage, just out of theory / best practice. Will the listener normally detect any difference? No.
More seriously… For anyone who is interested in the issue of 16-bit versus 24-bit audio in connection with Bandcamp—in particular for those dithering over whether their dithering of 24-bit audio will be better than Bandcamp’s—this thread on Gearspace is worth a look.
