This made me think of a lovely colleague who says she knows she only has an outdoor voice

It seems to constantly really freak the commentators out that John Higgins is 50 and still alive

I love those boys. Also very fond of the Irish teacher and his daughter. It’s already great this series

I once asked my mum to send me a picture of a photo of my grandad for J to use in a school project. She sent me a pic of a chair across the room with what I assume was the photo lying on it.

Bit of Paul McCartney at the BBC before bed. It’s been an enjoyable musical evening

I’m going to be concentrating on that now! It’s a really great performance. I turned 14 in 1983. Was coming out of my Duran Duran obsession and starting to listen to my big brother’s records (Joy Division, The Cure, REM etc)

Sky Arts is brilliant for old concert footage. It’s probably online somewhere though.

On Sky Arts now - Siouxsie and the Banshees at the RAH in 1983. So very cool. And Robert Smith on guitar

My faves at the moment are the lads, the Irish teacher and his daughter, and the girl cousins. Strong cast this year. As always with these shows , the normal people version far superior to the celeb ones

Storyville - André Is an Idiot A Storyville documentary that follows André, who, despite receiving a terminal diagnosis, is determined to die with humour, curiosity and defiance.

Just caught up with this. Not the usual cancer journey doc. Honest and really very funny in the face of the inevitable. I really enjoyed it www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...

I’m a couple of glasses of red wine in and I’ve suddenly decided I need a theremin. Must resist temptation

Yay I won £100 on the Premium Bonds this month. But it’s J’s 19th birthday later in April so I guess I know where it’s going. Nice to be a winner though 😊
