One of the great testaments to Hemingway's art is what asses writers trying to mimic or parody him sound like. It's like when someone looks at a piece of art that looks easy and says "Anybody could do that," - no, no they can't, not without doing the work.
reading this gave me a stroke. It should read: I think this is useful reading for any art, not just painting. Kandinsky gets at something.
