Returning to LSO St Luke’s, where Final Symphony first brought us to the LSO in 2013 for rehearsals, felt especially meaningful. A perfect finale to the Piano Fantasies album release tour with the fabulous @mischacheung.bsky.social.
20 years. At our Piano Fantasies concert, performed by the brilliant @mischacheung.bsky.social, I was reminded that I have been coming to Stockholm for two decades now, and of how many great people I have been lucky to work with.

Piano Fantasies – music from SQUARE ENIX行ってきましたー。久しぶりにピアノのコンサート行ったけど、とーってもよかった！！最高！！
コンサート終わり後のピアノ🎹 ミーシャさんは名門大学出身の著名なピアニストとしてだけではなく、かなり昔からゲーム音楽のオーケストリングやコンサートに携わっていて、彼自身もまたゲームが大好きな人。 そして偉大なるゲーム音楽作曲者の植松伸夫さんも、ミーシャさんのピアノ演奏に衝撃を受けたと語るぐらい、ミーシャさんの事をリスペクトしており、それに応えるかのようにミーシャさんもまた植松さん、そしてゲーム音楽そのものをリスペクトしている。 特にミーシャさんのお好みは下村陽子さん作曲のキングダムハーツシリーズの曲だそうで、自身のコンサートでも持ち曲のひとつとして毎回演奏するぐらいキングダムハーツの曲が大好きらしい🥳 そして語られた植松さんのハンカチエピソードなのですが、どうやらその昔植松さんがミーシャさんに送ったハンカチをミーシャさんは自身が行う全ての公演に持ち込んで、それで毎回演奏前のピアノの鍵盤を拭いており、自身のお守りにするぐらい大切に使っていて、長年大事にしてきたのだという。 尊敬する植松さんから頂いたハンカチを大事に大事に使い続けるという素敵なエピソードを聞いて、この方は本当に偉大なピアニストな方なんだなって改めて思いました☺️ そんな人の手で奏でるスクエニピアノコンサート、非常に大きな満足感を得られる事が出来ました😊 本当に本当に素晴らしい公演でした！！！ ありがとうございました！！！👍👍👍
ちなみにこれが今回のセトリです。実はKHの曲が最後…かと思ったら、アンコールでFF10の「素敵だね」とFF9の「独りじゃない」を独自のアレンジで演奏してくれました😭 この2曲はこの後発売予定のCDにも収録されてないので、本当にこのコンサートでしか聴けない最高にレアなアレンジ曲でした！👍 もちろん、それら以外の曲もみんなどれも最高でした…！ここまでの曲を聴いてる最中「あぁ…俺今月も頑張って良かったなぁ……」なんて思いましたね☺️ 本当に最高でしたから…
そして遂に時間となり、ピアノコンサートが始まったのですが、もう本当に最高も最高の時間でした😭
ゲームを愛するミーシャさんの原曲を作った作曲者さんへのリスペクトも込めながら発揮した、その楽曲の"らしさ"を残した大胆なアレンジは、原曲を知ってる人でも納得して感動できるぐらいの美しい音色となって会場に響き渡り、正直色んな感慨深さに浸りまくれた時間でした😭
最後にMCの戸塚さんから語られた"植松さんから貰ったハンカチのエピソード"はとても感動できるぐらい良くて、互いをリスペクトし合ってるからこその素敵なエピソードだなと思いました☺️
ホンマに最高の時間でしたわ…🥳

Piano Fantasies was an emotional concert that reminded me why I originally decided to pursue this profession. It was the first time that one of my productions had its premiere in Japan, and I could not have wished for a more fitting place. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this possible!
