It feels like every time we're in the studio there's another strange beast in here

Still need some intros for the upcoming season! If you have a cool character you'd want to show off to the world with a short audio clip, DM us about it #ttrpg
A new friend supervising recording today? It feels like every time we're in Reilly's studio there's another stuffed animal here ๐ฆฅ๐

You know those intros at the start of each episode where someone introduces the show in-character as their PC and tells the audience they're listening to Campaign Spotlight? We've set up a hotline to collect more of those! Call it in to 724 320 2020 (and then DM us about it so we can credit you).
This has been one of the funnest parts of the show, because it's a way for people who don't GM whole big elaborate campaigns to show off the characters they play, and so we (and the listeners!) get to experience a snippet of a whole different campaign at the start of the episode.

Back in the studio for Season 5
We're once looking for people with interesting home #ttrpg campaigns who'd be up for in-person interviews at our studio in Seattle. It absolutely doesn't have to be D&D 5e. Please DM us or just reply here if that sounds fun for you.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Reilly was so excited to do music and sound design for your monologue - epistolary entries make for fun dramatic monologues, which I guess makes sense.
Oh thanks for catching this! They're on now. And it's an in-person interview at our studio.
Looking for guests with interesting home TTRPG campaigns. If you run a cool home game and you'd be up for an audio-only no-video podcast interview at our studio in Seattle, DM us. We're really hoping to showcase more home games that wouldn't otherwise get shared with the world. #ttrpg #indiettrpg
The Season 4 finale came out less than a week ago but we're already looking for guests for Season 5! If you're based in Seattle, you have a cool home TTRPG campaign, and you'd like to talk about it on a podcast, then you should DM us about it. #ttrpg #indiettrpg
In this week's episode, we chat with Satah (@posatahchips.gaygothvibes.online) about the distinction between games and writing exercises, the social expectations of GMing, and a table writing 150,000 words of fanfiction about their own campaign.

Thank you again, Jake and Reilly, for having me on to talk about @gadia-official.com ! It was so good to catch up with you again one year later and report what had happened with #LegendsOfGadia since our first meeting. ๐ค
This week, we're on location at OrcaCon 2026! We hear about taste mechanics, Canadian orthography, and products for the sloppy player.

In this week's episode, we chat with Chris Pramas of @greenroninpub.bsky.social! We hear about adapting a series of novels as a TTRPG, implementing spaceship combat without writing a physics textbook, and the importance of considering what a fantasy city would smell like. #ttrpg #indiettrpg
Also, Green Ronin Games has faced some difficulties around the bankruptcy of their physical book publisher, so if you like novel interesting TTRPGs, maybe consider helping them out?
Also, we're back from a bit of a hiatus! Thanks for your patience. Expect the rest of Season 4 and our plans for Season 5 soon.
