At about this point, I sometimes condense stitches onto a smaller number of needles, depending on my mood.

It is really pretty colors. Perhaps you were simply making it for someone else and didn't realize it at the time.

Not as much grey as I'd like to see, but it's less bad than it could have been.

Keep an eye on your needle, though. If the glue isn't completely dry, it can gum up a needle.
