Playing MTG Arena for the first time ever (and I haven't played MTG at all for year). One thing I'm finding really interesting is the way the meta changes with each rank. Honestly facing totally different decks every time I hit a new badge.
RTS fans, you need to keep an eye on Dying Breed. It's part nostalgic nod to the golden era of RTS, part parody, & part serious strategy game. Freshly released in Early Access =)

Long time since I posted in #screenshotsaturday, but the day has come, and it brings space dolphins and cosmic whales, it brings astronauts fighting for survival at the edges of the twilight zone.

@razbuten.bsky.social Check out my Roadwarden if you're interested in seeing a modern take of an RPG with a time limit.
A controversial part of the game to be sure, but supports everything about its design.
Will use it again. ; )
Po Boy! A working class part time thief loitering in a crumped down alley.
A scene from a date in a calm opening in the woods. A floating woman meets a young romantic. It went horribly.
An office building turned revolutionary headquarters. This corridor is VERY pink!
A desert scene with cactoids in the foreground. A vast plain opens behind them and mountains rise in the distance slightly faded by atmosphere.
Today is a special day! Melon Head turns exactly 1 year old! ONE year since release, whoopee!! 🎉📣😅🎉
Melon Head is a certified underground classic of modern #retro #pointandclick games! 😋

Screenshots from Cyber Knights: Flashpoint. Isometric turn-based tactics gameplay. An XCOM-like HUD shows an initiative order of characters under the player's control with various enemies mixed in, and a security level meter that reacts to the player going loud or choosing to take a more stealth game approach.
Cyber Knights: Flashpoint key art. Cyberpunk mercenary characters overlaid on a gameplay screenshot showing a move into cover being planned. "Our Last Big EA [Early Access] Discount" banner text.
Zoomed out map overview of a tactical mission level for Cyber Knights: Flashpoint. Invisible, Inc.-like security devices are scattered across the map along with human and drone guards highlighted in red. The player has 4 squad members highlighted in green and can choose to take a combat, stealth, or mixed approach to completing objectives and getting their squad members to extraction points across the map.
📢📢📢 Our squad tactics heist RPG is 34%-off for its FINAL big Early Access discount!
We're 70% through EA as we push toward launch in spring, with over 100 hours of playable content already available and 94% 👍 reviews.

G'day! I don't check here very regularly yet sorry =)
There's a meditating melon-headed figure and the text says: "Melon Head's really well done. It's obviously a bit bizarre but that fits the point & click genre really well. Actually the inventory items are some of the most normal I've encountered, though the characters & story certainly aren't. Solid puzzles, no pixel hunting or broken logic, well-written, good sense of humour. It's a winner. "
Here's praise that Melon Head got from @cshpicone.bsky.social ! 🤩 I especially like the observation that despite the wacky nature of the game the inventory items are very normal, something that completely escaped me in development. Good stuff 🫶
Thanks! What on Earth is East Texas University as a setting btw?
Reminds me of a game of Savage Worlds I ran a long time ago. Was filled with Rakashan, Avian, etc. Cheers for the tip.
Deepest Chamber is excellent! I reviewed it a while back.
y0, everyone shout some cool and preferably unusual settings at me! Not Weird West as I'm already covering that elsewhere and I also want to avoid generic Western Fantasy. Everything else is probably fair game though, what have you got for me?
Man, I love the 80s. Post-80s was kinda the start of globalism - and in turn, the end of culture.
