I'm going to make an alt account focus mostly on SFW stuff for the next little bit. I'm not going to stop NSFW but I'm done putting such an emphasis on making a business out of it.
Hopefully a nice break as well as putting less emphasis on profit motives overall will bring passion back into my NSFW
I love both. I want to give my SFW & NSFW works the love and care they deserve. Unfortunately the only way I see myself ever getting to the point of being able to do that is to dedicate to one, and occasionally indulge the other.
The obvious answer is to make an alt account, but I've tried to manage NSFW and SFW art accounts before, and it seems like if I ever wanted to consistently post on both, I'd have to limit myself to making works I can have NSFW alts of. Which is basically just being a NSFW artist.
I wouldn't mind spending the next while focused on SFW projects, but for an account like this being dedicated to NSFW, I feel making such a switch would be pulling the rug from under the people who followed me for my NSFW.

I've been dealing with smthn that lately has killed my motivation, as much as I love NSFW and the community surrounding it, I feel like my art lately has devolved into OH LOOK A PENIS! and similar clickbait for the sake of engagement. without any real emotion or purpose behind it.
Showing that a wip of an art piece usually gets more love and attention than showing off the finished version of that art piece

Learning to rig has been a slow nightmare but I'm finally making some post-able progress!!!

Its just rough when I don't have something to feed the algorithm. Especially since the majority of platforms rely on regular content and engagement in order to be discoverable.
