Contrarian thought, mostly just to be contrarian: Bluesky's core accounts being subject to their own moderation systems, and the level of transparency that requires, is actually kind of awesome? I dislike the inconvenience this creates but I don't think "just make it unblockable" is a real fix.

Hate it 'cause I really felt like I was getting good stuff out of all that networking, but after 500 "got 15 minutes to connect?"s I recognized I was just busy, not productive. Much more useful with intentionality but also less profitabke for LI, so I don't expect it to last.
I tried the LION thing for a while and was inundated by automated spam and outright begging. Switched it up in early 2025 and now reject most requests & block any variant of BDR title (+ disconnect mutuals for repeat offenders). LI is calm and usable again. Until they make me pay to block. 🙃
